Mixbus 10 Tiers
Some customers may find it necessary to register for a free iLok account at Pace. Mixbus does not require iLok, but our purchase process may not work for some users in the US and Australia unless an iLok name is provided. We are working quickly to resolve this.”

NEW in Mixbus 10: Mix Immersively with Dolby Atmos (Pro tier)
Mixbus 10 Pro provides everything you need to publish a Dolby Atmos immersive mix to your music distribution service.
Monitor your mix on 7.1.4 speakers or simulate a surround mix in your regular headphones using Mixbus’s built-in binaural renderer.
The Immersive master bus provides extensive metering so you can meet your distributor’s loudness targets.
Mix like a console
Mixbus’s hallmark is our knob-per-function mixer: we call it True Analog Mixing. Version 10 Pro applies the True Analog Mixing workflow to Dolby Atmos, providing you direct access to a 3D surround panner in every channel strip. Mixbus makes it fast and fun to make an immersive mix.
Mixbus uses object-oriented panning to make Dolby Atmos immersive files. Every channel has a dedicated panner to assign the position of your sound in a 3D space, and the listener can choose to listen to the immersive ADM file on any playback system. The immersive ADM file will automatically utilize all the speakers of a listener's setup.... whether binaural headphones, 5.1 surround, 7.1.4, or more!
Convenient modes allow you to fly the sounds around the immersive space ... individually or in stereo pairs.... and features like Size, Snap, and Binaural Render Mode provide the tools to make sure your mix translates to the playback system.
NEW in Mixbus 10: SSL 9000J EQ (Pro tier)
In addition to the world-renowned Harrison 32C EQ in every channel, you can now choose the SSL 9000J EQ, another storied equalizer that has been used on countless pop and rock hits for the last 3 decades.
You can independently select an EQ for every input channel. You might choose to utilize the SSL on your drum tracks, and the Harrison EQ on your vocals. Or vice versa ... whichever you choose! You can A/B the two equalizer settings to determine which works best for each of your tracks.
This gives you the flexibility of a plugin, but the benefit of a console workflow: you can mix ‘in context’ with other tracks, and skip all that time managing popup plugin windows.
NEW in Mixbus 10: Mixbus Pre/Post Sends
All 3 tiers of Mixbus will benefit from the addition of a ‘pre fader’ option on the 12 stereo Mixbus send knobs. When “pre” is engaged, the signal is picked-off directly before the Fader element in the signal flow. Any plugins before (above) the fader will be applied to the signal.
Every send has its own level control, and can follow the main fader’s pan, or can be assigned its own pan position.
Among other utilitarian tasks, the new pre-fader option allows you to recreate a popular mixing technique that was popular in 1970’s Nashville productions: you can build your mix balance on the reverb sends, and then bring in ‘just enough’ dry signal on the faders to give your mix that deep ambience you hear on early Country and R&B records.

Mixbus Resources
With dozens of DAWs to choose from, there's only one that is designed to work like a Harrison—with an analog paradigm that embodies form, function, and sound. Where other DAWs use a computer paradigm, MIXBUS grows from Harrison's distinguished 48-year heritage of platinum records and blockbuster films such as Thriller, Graceland, and Spider-Man. Mixbus is the first full-featured DAW with true analog-style mixing.
