Developed in close collaboration with live sound engineers, LiveTrax 2 from Harrison Audio is an efficient multitrack recording and virtual soundcheck software that integrates seamlessly with Allen & Heath and SSL Live consoles. Designed to capture live performances ranging from small, intimate events to large-scale concerts, LiveTrax 2 focuses on the essential tools needed to record quickly and efficiently, without unnecessary complexity. LiveTrax 2 introduces several new features that make capturing live performances easier—and, most importantly, sound even better.
Simplified Sonic Toolkit
To ensure you can capture your performance with complete confidence, LiveTrax 2 introduces a range of powerful new tools, developed in collaboration with leading live sound engineers. These include a real-time RTA analyzer and phase correlation meter across all tracks, giving you real-time visibility into the frequency response selectable on any channel. Input monitoring is now easier than ever, a dedicated monitor button now available on every track.
LiveTrax 2 also features expanded marker functionality and advanced master output controls, along with a resizable Big Clock and a dedicated Meterbridge window—allowing you to confirm that LiveTrax is actively recording from any vantage point.
You can also monitor CPU usage, Disk I/O, and Remaining Record Time. For efficient storage, direct recording to FLAC format is supported, saving up to 50% of disk space compared to WAV files. To protect your session, a System Lock feature prevents accidental keypresses during recording.
Seamless integration with leading console manufacturers
Allen & Heath
Through seamless integration with Allen & Heath live consoles, LiveTrax eliminates the unnecessary features of a fully featured DAW in a live environment, allowing you to easily capture any performance with confidence. When paired with an Allen&Heath console, LiveTrax can create a marker when you recall a mixer scene, jump to follow your scenes during virtual soundcheck, synchronize tracks names, and follow transport commands from your console.
SSL Live
The SSL Live platform by Solid State Logic is acclaimed for its superior sonic performance on tours, at event spaces, and at houses of worship. With Harrison LiveTrax integration, users can create markers when recalling console automation scenes, enabling smooth transitions that follow scene changes during virtual soundchecks. Additionally, SSL Live console channel names can be effortlessly transferred to LiveTrax, simplifying session management and ensuring quick organization.
Refine your mix before the show
Additionally, LiveTrax displays input level meters before track creation, ensuring full visibility of your input signals prior to recording. Effortlessly switch between "Multi Out" (consecutive multitrack playback) and "Stereo Out" modes for swift virtual sound checking. LiveTrax is the definitive tool for live sound engineers, allowing you to refine your mix before the show starts.
Map it out your way
LiveTrax also functions as a simplified digital ‘tape recorder’ perfect for capturing live productions of any kind, band rehearsals or even podcast sessions. The marker function facilitates straightforward mapping of setlists, song structures or memory locations that can easily be ‘drag & drop’ rearranged for later convenience.
Ultimate versatility
For ultimate versatility, LiveTrax can sync timecode & transport control via LTC/SMPTE, MTC, MMC. (Advanced chase features are provided for large systems with multiple sync sources). LiveTrax supports multiple remote-control console protocols such as OSC, Mackie and more.
